Avenged Sevenfold（简称A7X）是一支来自美国加利福尼亚州亨廷顿海滩的重金属乐队，成立于1999年。现任成员包括主唱M. Shadows、节奏吉他手Zacky Vengeance、主音吉他手Synyster Gates、贝斯手Johnny Christ和鼓手Brooks Wackerman。

乐队于1999年在加州亨廷顿海滩成立，最初成员为Matt Sanders、James Sullivan、Zachary Baker和Matt Wendt。乐队名称取自圣经故事。成员均有乐队经验。1999年10月录制首个三曲Demo，2000年2月首次现场演出。贝斯手多次更迭，最终由Johnny Christ加入，形成经典阵容。2001年7月24日，首张专辑《Sounding the Seventh Trumpet》发行。
《Waking the Fallen》和《City of Evil》（2003–2005）

2009年12月28日，鼓手The Rev意外去世。乐队一度考虑解散，后邀请Mike Portnoy录制新专辑。2010年7月27日发行《Nightmare》，首周登顶公告牌200。随后Portnoy离队，Arin Ilejay成为新鼓手。
《Hail to the King》和《Waking the Fallen: Resurrected》（2012–2014）
2012年乐队获得Revolver金神奖“最佳现场乐队”和“最忠实粉丝”奖。2013年8月23日发行第六张专辑《Hail to the King》，风格向经典金属致敬，多国榜首。2014年8月发行《Waking the Fallen: Resurrected》十周年纪念版。

2015年Brooks Wackerman成为新鼓手。2016年10月28日，乐队突然发行第七张专辑《The Stage》，为人工智能主题的概念专辑，风格趋向前卫金属。乐队还多次与Metallica等大团同台巡演。

音乐风格与影响
Avenged Sevenfold的音乐风格随时间演变，涵盖重金属、前卫金属、另类金属、硬摇滚、金属核（早期）。乐队成员受In Flames、Metallica、Iron Maiden、Megadeth、Slayer、Mr. Bungle、Elton John、Beatles、Black Sabbath、Led Zeppelin等多队影响。
